Steel City Pottery is 100% handcrafted pottery made here in Pittsburgh, PA. Glazes are formulated and mixed on site, all pottery is hand thrown or hand built, and the work is fired to over 2100 Degrees Fahrenheit - like the furnaces of the steel mills have for generations.

Our pottery is functional and meant to be used - the glazes I use are microwave and dishwasher safe. But please don't think that Blue Collar isn't also Beautiful. Both Form and Function are taken into account and we hope you appreciate both.
